in the mid 2000's F.3’s were repainted in overall Medium Sea Grey with a slight variation in the radome colour.

First Gulf War

During the first gulf war aircraft were overpainted in overall desert pink with a black radome.

Grey
From 1999 until the mid 2000's aircraft were repainted in Dark Sea Grey Uppers and Dark Camouflage Grey (BSC381C:629) on the side/ undersides. The radome remained black.

By 2007 the camouflage scheme for the GR.4‘s had transitioned to overall Medium Sea Grey (Xtracolor X003) with Dark Sea Grey (Xtracolor X004) radomes.
Individual airframes can display considerable variation across different panel: check your references!!!

The early scheme, a disruptive pattern of Dark Green (FS 34079) and Dark Grey (FS 36118) on the upper surface with painted aluminium (FS 37178) undersides.

Italian Tornado now sport an overall LIght Grey finish (FS 36280). The radome is still black.

For the first Gulf War (Operazione Locusta), the silver underside remained but the upper surfaces were replayed for  in FS 33448.
